Submited By: Mary When you boil it down to price only these tests are really not a good value. You're better off getting the strips or cassettes and save some money. Yes it's comforting to have something to use that you are familiar with and a name brand that you trust but I can assure you that the strips work just as good if not better. I have used these tests before and for every cycle I had to buy 2 boxes of 7. I never got a double line just before my surge and the day after my surge. When I use the strips I get a faint LH line throughout the entire month and then the closer I get to ovulation the darker the line gets until I get my positive result. This is indicative that the strips are actually more sensitive than these tests. I also find the strips much easier to have with you at all times. By far the price per test is just not worth it. Especially if you are irregular and simply don't know when you will ovulate so you need to do it everyday of your cycle. This could get really expensive. I'd rather buy the strips and not worry about the cost and take my savings and invest it in something for my 'new' little one.
